Celebrate love: our Valentine`s Day collection 24 January 2012

With hearts popping up all around, you know it’s getting close to that time of year where we stop and cherish the one we love. Whether you’re looking to lure a new love or celebrate a long lasting union, we have a gorgeous arrangement to suit your every need. Here are some of our top picks for this February 14th - Valentines Day.
Tried & True: You know that you can never go wrong with a dozen red roses. A classic symbol of romance, this hand tied bouquet of deep red roses is designed with anemones and Queen Anne’s lace. Ecuadorian roses (1 dozen): hand tied bouquet $125, vase arrangement $200
Twist on Traditional: Perhaps this is the year to shake it up a bit with a splash of colour. This Valentine’s day, we will have an abundant collection of roses in shades from soft pink to fuchsia to peach blush and rich coral. Or why not surprise her with these voluptuous garden roses. Garden roses (1 dozen): hand tied bouquet $150, vase arrangement $250

Mix It Up: So maybe roses aren’t her thing. We can create a beautiful mixed flower arrangement like this simple yet graceful vanilla hand tied bouquet. Mixed bouquet (as shown) $150

Crazy for Carns: It’s time to discard the notion that carnations lack personality. Enter the Love Bomb - a glorious cluster of electric magenta carnations. Bold, edgy and truly a crowd pleaser. Small $60, Large $100

Purple Crush: Knock her stockings off with a Purple Crush. This edgy, asymmetrical vase arrangement features purple carnations in three striking shades and Picasso calla lilies. $175

Love Boat: If you`re looking for a taste of exotica, orchids are the perfect choice. This striking arrangement of Cymbidiums orchids is an elegant and unconvential alternative. $150

Over the Top: There’s no such thing as over the top when it comes to Valentines. Ok maybe a 10 lb Chocolate Heart might be slightly over the edge. If you’re looking to really blow her away, we suggest the rose Love Bomb. We’re pretty sure that this mass of red Ecuadorian roses will leave her speechless. $500

Avoid the rush. Be sure to place your Valentine’s Day order well in advance. Stop by the shop, email or phone us and we’ll be happy to discuss how to design the perfect arrangement for your Valentine.
From February 9-14, we will also have a mini shop at the FCP Community Corner (between HMV and Suzy Shier, concourse level).
See you on Valentine’s Day.
