End of Summer Garden Party

Labour Day marks the end of summer…well maybe the unofficial end.  The autumnal equinox is still a few weeks away but with the threat of single digit evening temperatures and influx of school supply flyers, all signs are pointing to summer coming to a close.  We had one last hurrah as we prepared a floral installation for a corporate client.  The theme of the event: Garden Party. 

For this hip rooftop patio, we created mini gardens of cat grass. Each was dressed with hot pink and fuchsia dahlias, zinnias and celosia.  All flowers were sourced from our local growers.  This touch of green quickly transformed the space into a cool, urban retreat.
