FLOWERS I
A good grasp of the basics is all you need to design a stunning floral arrangement. In this workshop, learn everything you need to know from how to buy flowers to designing a contemporary vase arrangement. Our Floral Designers will guide you on the fundamental principles of design in order to create a gorgeous arrangement using a single type of flower. Take your hand-made creation to display in your home or give as a distinguished hostess gift.

FLOWERS II
Get ready to take your design skills to the next level. Receive hands-on instruction on how to create a full and beautiful mixed vase arrangement of cut flowers. Our Floral Designers will provide instruction on what to look for when buying different types of flowers and how to effectively arrange them with style. And just in time for summer, these tips and technique will come in handy when you cut and arrange flowers from your garden.
Pre-requisite: Flowers I is recommended

LET`S CLEAR THE AIR:
A GUIDE TO INDOOR PLANTS THAT PURIFY
Just in time for Earth Day, let’s clear the air with a workshop dedicated to plants that purify. In this educational session, learn the important role plants play in cleaning and renewing indoor air quality. Participants will be schooled on which plants have the greatest toxin-fighting abilities, how they work at cleaning the air and how to stylishly arrange them in way that enhances your home or office. Best of all, each participant will receive an energy friendly, all-natural green purifier.

DESIGN YOUR OWN BLOOM BOX
Show Mom your love and admiration with a gift that will inspire her for the gardening season. In this workshop, learn to create a beautiful indoor starter garden that she can admire on her window sill. This long lasting gift is designed with style and versatility in mind. Mom will nurture and enjoy it as it blooms indoors or take it outside to blossom and grow all summer long.

RIBBON BLOOMS
We’re thrilled to have Alison Dawson, jewelry designer and owner of C’est Joli, here to teach the fascinating trends of ribbon accessories. Her designs have caught the attention of the fashion world from New York, Beijing and all across Canada including such retailers as Henri Bendel and Anthropologie. Learn to make contemporary ribbon flowers that can be incorporated into a stylish hairpiece or jewelry accessory. Show off your must-have ribbon bloom or gift it to your favourite fashionista.

WHAT`S YOUR FLAVOUR:
BUILDING AN INDOOR CULINARY GARDEN
With Canada’s short growing season, there’s even more reason to ignite your inner gardener and build your very own herb garden. Starting with the principles of indoor container gardening, our designers will provide instruction on herb and container selection, decorative ways to mark and label your herbs, as well as savvy tips on how to control and maintain your garden to ensure that it thrives. From Asian to Italian to Provencal, customize your flavour box in a way that reflects your culinary style. Perfectly suited for condo living.
